Custom Systems

On-demand customization is readily available.  Set up the system to exactly fit your requirements - longer nozzle, larger cold orifice, bigger storage dewar, transfer line bends or whatever, CRYO will manufacture to your request.

Our excellent quality control and efficient production scheduling will ensure affordable CUSTOM systems. CRYO has the technical skills necessary to develop cryogenic systems that are at the cutting edge. We have managers and technicians who are knowledgeable, capable and have years of cryogenic experience. From design to production, to installation and beyond, CRYO establishes a working rapport with you.  This means you can focus on the business of doing your research, leave the rest to us and get exactly the system that you need and want.

CUSTOM CRYOCOOL CF3
AND CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
IN SPACE?

The Cryogen Free CRYOCOOL CF3 with Stirling cycle refrigerator is a prototype system for possible future Space Station operation.
The Stirling Refrigerator operates in a zero gravity environment; hence, it replaces the GM (Gifford McMahon) refrigerator, normally used in the CF3 system.

The system was tested with both the Never-Ice technology and the classic coaxial flow (shield gas type). The Never-Ice was selected for formal prototype demonstrations because of its superiority.

This custom CF3 system was manufactured by CRYO for the University of Alabama (under contract to NASA).
