1. Connect the highly efficient flexible stainless steel
transfer line to the cryostat and the other end into a liquid helium (or
nitrogen) storage dewar.
2. Turn the knob that adjusts a precision needle
valve and cooling starts. The cryogen flow cools the sample!
3. Attach the
built in heater to a temperature controller. Vary temperature as desired.
Standard operating range is <2K to 325K; a high temp option can increase the
range up to 1000K. Yes, <2 to 1000K in one cryostat!
