RC152 CRYOGENIC WORKSTATIONS

Variable Temperature sample in vapor optical flow cryostats

RC 152 cryogenic workstation

The model RC152 (a variable temperature cryogenic WORKSTATION) is a perfect match for many research projects. Its small size makes it easy to carry, move, set up and align. The temperature of your sample(s) can be controlled over a full temperature range, from less than 1.4 to 325 K- start cooling and you are at 4K in 10 minutes or less.

Liquid cryogen flows from the storage dewar through a flexible stainless steel transfer line to a heat exchanger located below the sample. The sample to be cooled is placed into the vapor exiting from the heat exchanger. Samples can be rotated and adjusted vertically while operating.

No precool is needed with this system.Overnight liquid helium losses and reservoir hold times are no longer problems. The cryostat is connected directly to the storage dewar. The cryostat does not consume liquid helium when not in use.

Change samples fast and as often as desired. You can choose from a large selection of window materials, from UV (ultraviolet) to IR (infrared). The system can be operated with helium or nitrogen. The model RC152 is a true 'performance by design' system.
